Obituary:

Janice Renee Pearson, 65 of Cabool, MO was born on Dec. 12, 1954 at the family home in Cabool, MO the daughter of William Ray and Zella Naomi (Erwin) Rust. She passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2020 surrounded by family. Renee married Randal Mark Pearson on May 15, 1971and to this union two children were born, Krista Lynn and Ryan Mark.

Renee graduated from Cabool High School in 1973. She then went to work at Brown Shoe Company for a few years until the birth of her son, Ryan. She stayed at home and babysat several children in Cabool until returning to Brown Shoe until it closed. She then went to work at the Paramount Factory in Mtn. Grove for a few years until she went to work at Caterpillar in Pomona where she remained until her retirement in 2009.

Renee's love of sewing came at a young age watching her mother sew as a child, this continued throughout the years. One of her favorite things to sew were memory quilts for the loved ones of family members who had past. She also donated several quilts over the years to the local schools. She was also an avid cook and genuinely loved to cook for anyone and any event. In the past few years she enjoyed making surprise treats for her WDT family and cookies for her local cookie monsters, Jim and Earlene. In her spare time Renee enjoyed gardening, going to the casinos with her husband, Randy, and spending time with her family and friends.

Renee was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Zella Rust; brother, Derald Rust; infant sister, Gayle Rust and infant grandson, Dakota Snyder. She is survived by her husband, Randy of the home; daughter, Kristy Bellingroehr and husband, Health of Cabool; son, Ryan Pearson of Cabool; sister, Karen Rust of Cabool; three grandchildren, Drew Curtis and wife, Caitlyn of Roby, Gunnar Pearson of Cabool and Avah Pearson of Cabool and four great grandchildren, Alex of Benicia, CA, Kailey, Colten and Aubrey of Roby.

Renee will be greatly missed by her family and many, many friends, as she was a friend to everyone she met and did not know a stranger.
