Obituary:

Jared Lee Reese, 17 of Cabool, MO passed on from this life on April 26, 2013. He was born on February 1, 1996 in Springfield, MO the son of Dwight and Valerie (Oaks) Reese.

Jared was a junior at Cabool High School and was taking classes at MSU. He was a member of the Cabool Baseball and Football teams, FFA, Mayor's Youth Council, Fellowship of Christian Teens, FBLA and FFCLA. Jared loved to fish, hunt, play sports and spend time with family and friends. He was a joyful young man whose smile would light up a room.

Jared accepted Jesus Christ as his savior and was baptized on October 21, 2012. He enjoyed spending time with the Cabool Christian Church youth group.

Jared was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Marlin and Virginia Reese; his maternal grandfather, Charlie Oaks, and his uncles, Danny Reese and Teddy Reese. He is survived by his parents, Dwight and Valerie Reese; his two brothers, Jacob and wife, Stacey, and Joshua Reese; his two sisters, Jenna Garr and husband, Jon and Jackie Sheppard and husband, Jake; his nieces, Madilyn and Hannah; his maternal grandmother, Vivian Oaks; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
