Obituary:

Jay Carlton Dearing, Sr., 84 of Cabool, MO passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. He was born on May 5, 1930 in Long Branch, NJ the son of Frank R. and Mildred (Perdunn) Dearing.

Jay enlisted with the US Air Force and proudly served his country until receiving his discharge with the rank of Sargent. He spent a number of years as a truck driver and also owned his own commercial cleaning service.

Jay is survived by his sons, Jay C. Dearing, Jr. and James L. Dearing; his daughter, Cindy Worrall; a step daughter, Rhea Conklin; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and special friends, Rob and Shannon Bowling. He will be missed by all those who knew him.
