Obituary:

J.D.Baney, 62 of Lenapah, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at his home. He was born on December 12, 1948 in Houston, MO the son of Thomas and Fern Baney.

J.D. was united in marriage to Mary Cole on June 13, 1975 in Davenport, Iowa and spent most of their lives living in Cabool, MO. His life work included working in construction and helping Mary raise their four children. He lived the last 15 years of his life in Oklahoma, 13 of those years he spent welcoming each one of his grandsons into this world. He enjoyed going to various yard sales and auctions when he wasn't  relaxing and playing with his grandsons.

J. D. was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Fern Baney; two sisters, Connie Kay Childers and Shirley Upshaw; one brother, Thomas A. Baney and a grandson, Thomas Baney. He is survived by his wife, Mary Baney of Lenapah, OK; two brothers, Nova Baney of Manes, MO and Ray Baney; two daughters, Tracy Zillman of Delaware, OK and Tina Daniel of Cabool, MO; two sons, Thomas Baney of Cabool, MO and J.D. Baney, Jr., of Delaware, OK; eight grandsons, Alex Zillman, J.D. Baney, III, Eric Zillman, Preston Zillman, Blaine Baney, Coy Baney, Tevin Daniel and Breyten Baney. He will be well remembered and greatly missed.
