Jeffrey Scott Sigman was born on July 29, 1964 in Cabool, Missouri, to Ralph Ray and Lavaughn (Brown) Sigman. He passed away on December 8, 2011 at the Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, MO at the age of 47.
Jeff grew up in and around Cabool and attended all 12 years at Cabool Schools. After graduation with the Class of 1982, Jeff lived in Texas for a few years where he worked on water wells and put up billboards. After returning to Missouri, Jeff spent several years driving semis.
In 1992 Jeff married Kristy Dillard. To this union two sons were born, Jacob and Justin. Jeff also has an older son, Joshua, from a previous relationship.
Jeff liked listening to country and bluegrass music and enjoyed going to bluegrass festivals. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and he had a love for driving big trucks. Jeff also took pride in helping other people whenever asked. He also helped maintain the grounds at Sargent Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest. Jeff and his family attended the Cabool Second Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Ray Sigman; one sister, Kathy Martindale; his grandparents, Tom and Mildred Brown and Ralph and Veva Sigman; and his stepfather, Gene Hale.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Kristy; his sons, Jacob, Justin, and Joshua and wife Ashley; his mother, Lavaughn Hale; a brother, Rick Martindale; a nephew, Scott Martindale; step-brother, Wink Hale and wife, Liz; nephew, Jesse; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members and friends.
