Jerry Dog Welton, 77 of Vanzant, MO left this world on Dec. 12, 2021 at the Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, MO. He was born on May 17, 1944 in Vanzant, MO the son of Harold and Inez (Emery) Welton.

Dog was a jack of all trades; he enjoyed camping, fishing, looking for mushrooms and just taking to people.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sheila Mason; a son, Jeremy Sharp and two sisters, Lois Rogers and Virginia Reese. He is survived by his daughter, Tina (Kim) Quillman; sons, Jerry Welton, Jr., Johnny Welton and Brett (Nikki) Welton; 19 grandkids; 17 great grandkids; 2 great great grandkids; 2 sisters, Carol (Larry) and Marlyn (Charley); 2 brothers, Butch (June) and Floyd (Fern) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
