Obituary:

Jewell Dean (Stark) Dewitt, 80 of Cabool, MO passed away peacefully at home after a long illness on Sept. 9, 2016. She was born on Sept. 24, 1935 in Summersville, MO the daughter of Henry and Elva (Brewington) Stark.

Jewell worked for the Brown Shoe Company until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors and she was a "True" animal lover. She loved spending time with her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Jewell was preceded in death by her parents and both husbands, Elvis C. Dewitt and Gary Elliott; and a grandson, Wayne Brewer. She is survived by her children, Kathy Martin and husband, Kenny, Kaye Brewer and husband, Eugene, Elvis Dewitt and wife, Lesa and Edward Dewitt and wife, Linda; brothers and sisters, Marie, Lois, Judy, Gary, Russell, Robert and Brenda; 7 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
