Joan B. Riffle, 75 of Cabool, MO departed this life on Jan. 25, 2024 at her home.  She was born on June 4, 1948 in San Francisco, CA the daughter of Charles and Henrietta (Parade) Westlund.

Joan was united in marriage to Gary Riffle on July 31, 1989.  Joan had several occupations during her working years; such as working at a paper straw factory and a waitress, but she was best known for her years as a hairdresser and teaching at beautician school.  She had a gifted talent for painting and quilting, spending many hours enjoying those hobbies.  She also had a love for horses.  Joan was a member of the Christian Brethren Fellowship Church in Mtn. Grove, MO and attended as long as her health permitted.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Charles; a step-daughter, Jenny and two brothers  She is survived by her husband, Gary of the home; her special dogs, Jackie and Ruth; her hairless cat, James; two brothers in California; two grandsons; as well as her church family and friends.  She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
