John Isaac Pearce, 90 of Cabool, Missouri, passed away June 21, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, from heart failure.  He was born on July 21, 1926 in Joshua, TX the son of John, Sr. and Susie (Fletcher) Pearce.

John was united in marriage to Dovey on December 29, 1945 and to this union three children were born.  He retired after owning two businesses in Cabool -- J & D Furniture and John's Music Store.

John was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dovey Marie and daughter, Joyce Ann.  He is survived by his sons, John Isaac Pearce, Jr. and wife, Joyce Marie of College Station, Texas and Russell Lloyd Pearce and wife, Juanita of Ozark, Missouri; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a multitude of friends.
