Obituary:

Joseph John Lynch Jr., 76, formerly of Cabool, MO passed away on November 28, 2020 at the Hickory Manor Nursing Home in Licking, MO after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He was born on May 16, 1944 in Oakland, CA the son of Joseph J, Sr and Louise (Guth) Lynch.

In 1968 he married Carol (Smith) Lynch and they settled in Newark, California and raised their family. Joe worked as a Teamster and retired from Seven-Up Bottling in Fremont. He was a Master Mason belonging to Acacia Lodge in Hayward, California.

Joe was an avid fisherman and loved his local sports teams the Athletics and the Raiders. He coached Little League for his son's teams and enjoyed going to his nephews Justin & Michael's  games.  After Joe retired he enjoyed cruising with Carol.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph J Lynch, Sr and Louise (Guth) Lynch; his step-mother, Vida (Mittelbuscher) Lynch and a step brother, Kenneth Mittelbuscher. He is survived by his wife, Carol; his son's, Anthony of Oakland (daughter in-law, Harmony) and Chad of Newark (partner, Stevie); his daughter, Candace Downard of Tucson (son in-law, Edward); his granddaughters, Aurora Thompson-Lynch, Holly Downard and Petra Lynch; a grandson, Henry Downard; step granddaughter, Reba Thies (husband Sean); his brother, Hilding Lynch (sister in-law, Becky) of Castro Valley as well as many nieces and nephews.
