Obituary:

Joseph Waylon Schmedeke, 28 of Elk Creek, Missouri departed this life on Saturday May 26, 2018 in Willow Springs, Missouri. He was born in Litchfield, Illinois on Sept. 21, 1989 to Johnny T. Schmedeke and Paulene L. (Sronce) Schmedeke. He was engaged to Renae Bullard of Waynesville, MO.

Waylon graduated from Cabool High School with the Class of 2008. He worked as a CNA then got into construction work.

Waylon was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Johnny Schmedeke of Atwater, Illinois and maternal grandparents, Paul and Cloretta Sronce of Plainview, Illinois.

Waylon is survived by his children, Brody, Brady and Brylee of Willow Springs, Missouri, Brixon of Waynesville, Missouri and Remington of Mt. View, Missouri; his father, Johnny of Elk Creek, Missouri; mother, Paulene of Elk Creek, Missouri; brothers, Bo (Elizabeth) of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and Justice (Shira) of Cabool, Missouri; grandmother, La Donna Schmedeke of Atwater, Illinois; as well as several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
