Joyce Rose Skala, 84 passed away on June 17, 2023 at her home near Mtn. Grove.  She was born on May 4, 1939 in Cleveland, OH where she spent her younger years.

Joyce farmed, gardened and trained and showed horses.  She was a certified welder and was also a karate teacher, winning many awards.  She loved flying airplanes, running marathons and being close to nature.

In her later years she moved to the Vanzant Community to be closer to her family.  She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Susan, Rosalie and Rose Marie; her son, Victor and all those who knew and loved her.
