Obituary:

Kathleen "Kathy" May (Adkins) Noirfalise was born on December 30, 1946 the daughter of Mary Elizabeth Adkins.  She departed this life on December 13, 2018 at her home in Cabool, MO at the age of 71 with her family and some close friends by her side.

Kathy was born in Avon, Illinois but grew up and spent the rest of her life in Cabool, MO.  She graduated from Cabool High School in 1964.  During high school she met the love of her life, Teddy Jo Noirfalise.  They were married on January 24, 1963 at the Church of the Brethren; they had 2 children, Kimberly Gay and David Scott.

Kathy and Ted enjoyed golfing and traveling together and did so until she was no longer physically able.   Her favorite pastime was sitting on her deck enjoying her flowers, the birds and visiting with family and friends.  In her later years, she discovered a love for coloring and playing games on the PC.  She worked for 29 years, for Brown Shoe Company until it shut down.  She then went to work for The Home Center for 8 years until retiring in 2008.   Kathy loved her grandchildren and would often be heard bragging about their accomplishments.   One of her favorite things to do was to read the Cabool Enterprise from front to back every week.   Kathy was very proud of the town and citizens of Cabool.  She enjoyed seeing the progress and achievements of anything local.

Kathy leaves behind a legacy of determination.  She taught us all to work hard, never give up, and finish strong.  She was happiest when she was accomplishing something.  She strived to do the best she could in everything she tackled.  She spent her last year homebound under the care of hospice.  We often heard stories of how the hospice employees would fight over who got to visit her.  She quickly became a favorite to anyone who came to see her.  Her strength and will to live life to the fullest will long be remembered.

Kathy was preceded in death by her mother and her sister, Janice Loper.  She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Teddy Jo; her daughter and son-n-law, Kimberly and Tim Tribolet of Kansas City, MO; her son and daughter-n-law, David and Lynn Noirfalise of Raymore, MO; her grandchildren, Nicholas Andrew, Emily Elizabeth,  McKenna Kate and Preslee Paige; her sisters, Muriel Mahen and Pat Gault; brother, Jim Adkins and many relatives and friends.
