Kay Margaret (Reynolds) Touchette was born August 3, 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.After a
long illness, Kay passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 31, 2023. She was preceded in
death by her husband of 50 years, Duane Touchette; her daughter Denise (Touchette) Hooker;
and her brother-in-law, Dick Meindel. Kay is survived by her two sisters Gail Halwas and
Jeanne Meidel; her daughters Felicia (Touchette) Ellis of Springfield and Sabrina Touchette of
Cabool; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews,

As a young wife and mother, Kay raised show quality Great Danes at DuKay kennels. Kay spent
her working life as a physical therapy aide helping people with disabilities. After retirement,
Kay headed to a warmer climate and moved to Missouri with her husband of 50 years, Duane.
After Duane passed away in 2004, Kay spent winters in Florida living next door to her sister
Jeanne and her brother-in-law, Dick Meindel.

Kay loved to garden and spent many happy years in Wisconsin and Missouri raising a
magnificent garden of both flowers and vegetables. Kay loved gardening and enjoyed canning
and freezing produce from her garden,

Kay was a wonderful, sweet woman who will be greatly missed.
