Obituary:

Kenette Marie Self, 60 of Cabool, MO departed this life on March 2, 2021at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. She was born on April 17, 1960 in Riverside, CA the daughter of Kenneth and Lesie (Watson) Marshall.

Kenette worked as a Veterinarian Health Tech for many years. She loved Jesus and serving Him by reaching out to others; her sweet spirit always showed. She also loved music, old cars and Harley's.

Kenette and Rex moved to Missouri in 1999 and purchased the Tod's Motel in Cabool and immediately used it as a place/shelter to help others.

Kenette was preceded in death by her mother, Lesie Watson. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Rev. Rex Allen Self; her son, Michael Marshall and wife, Sarah; two step children; her grandchildren; two sisters and many nieces and nephews. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by many.
