We never got the chance to tuck you in and sing you to sleep, Tell you stories, read you books or cure the tears you'd weep.
Wrapped around your finger when we had our first look, We would have given you everything, no matter what it took.
Your eyes so blue they lit up the sky, You brightened our world, but we continue to cry.
We didn't want you to go, but we had no choice, The Lord called your name as the angels rejoiced.
Your healthy now and are perfect like you seemed, Thankful your suffering has ended and you've been set free.
Longing to kiss your precious cheeks once more, Wait for us there by Heaven's door.
Our family will reunite when our time comes, Until then be our guardian angel we will never forget and always love.
