Obituary:

Krista Antoinette (Kargel) Ostertag, 59 of Cabool, MO passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, December 11, 2016.  She was born on June 13, 1957 in Minnesota the daughter of Clarence and Delphine (Dannacker) Kargel.

Krista worked for a number of years as a restaurant cook and for a cleaning company.  She was a very loving person who loved to help people, sew and bake.

Krista was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Karlene Deters and two nephews, Cameron Callinan and Andrew Kargel.  She is survived by David Ostertag, the love of her life; brothers and sisters, Karen and husband, Gerald Callinan, Kevin Kargel and wife, Sally, Kenneth Kargel and wife, Georgianna, Konnie Kalmbach and husband, Kenneth, Kerry Kargel and wife, Glenna, Karsten Kargel and wife, Vicki, Keith Kargel, Kent Kargel and wife, Laurie, Kurt Kargel and wife, Sarah, Kateri and husband, Daniel Patterson; many nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews; special friend, Jim Vasher; as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.

The family would like to thank David Coonts, Dr. Jim McMinn and Casey's for contributions during her fund raiser and the many people who participated.
