Obituary:

Larry Hatfield, 76 of West Plains, MO left this world on October 28, 2020. He was born on July 31, 1944 the son of Loyd "Dutch" and Alma Opal Hatfield, Larry has five siblings.

He served his country in the United States Marine Corps as a radio tele operator in Honolulu before marrying our mother, Judy Hatfield, in 1968. Larry has five children: Sean, Mike, Danielle, Rusty, and Jennifer. He also has six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Larry's family was the joy of his life and we felt the same way about him.

Larry was preceded by his parents; his daughter, Danielle; grandson, Ian; sister, Carol and brother, Jerry. We like to think he's drinking coffee with them in heaven, and that he and Jerry are working on cars together.

Despite his earlier instructions for us to "just stick me in a cardboard box and bury me in the backyard," Larry requested that he be cremated and his ashes scattered at his favorite place in Colorado. He also requested that no funeral be held.

We are grateful to the staff of Brooke Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation for taking care of our Dad in his last years.
