Laura Jane Jones, 63 passed away at her home near Cabool, MO on Sept. 1, 2014. She was born on Jan. 14, 1951 in Windyville, MO the daughter of Donald B. and Mary L. (Taylor) Jones.

Laura grew up and attended school in Windyville and was baptized at a young age. She was a loving mother and grandmother; she enjoyed working with her flowers and plants and was known for her custom decorative cakes, but she was the happiest when she was with her family and especially her grandchildren.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Syrena Parsons and a sister, Casey Jones. She is survived by her sons, William Parsons and wife, Melissa of Mtn. Grove, MO and Bruce Jones and wife, Pearl of Mtn. Grove, MO; her daughter, Tammy Spencer and husband, Kerry of Cabool, MO; grandchildren, Adriana, Natasha and Billy James Parsons, Laura, Emily and Brett Jones and Cody, Trevor and Sheena Spencer; great grandchildren, Kaden, Axyl, Alex, Aiden and Maddie; sisters, Donnis Taylor and husband, Tommie of Gainesville, MO and Sherry Jones of Springfield, MO; brother, Mitchell Jones and wife, Darla of Windyville, MO; as well as many other relatives and friends. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
