Lois Mitchem, 93 of Cabool, MO was the second child of four children born to Ruben and Daisy (Souder) Beck. Life for her began January 29, 1929 in Raton, NM and ended at the Kabul Nursing home on October 15, 2022.

She grew up with two brothers, Ed and Leo and a sister, Betty.

Lois was preceded in death in 1995 by her husband of 48 years, Johnnie "Cob" Mitchem; in 2005 by her sister, Betty Jones; in 2020 by her brother, Leo and in 2014 by her longtime friend, Clay Frisbee.  She is survived by her brother, Ed Beck and wife, Pat of Cabool; her son, Johnnie Mitchem and wife, Debbie and her granddaughter, Haley all of Mtn Grove, MO; her daughter, Pam (Mitchem) Baca of Branson, MO; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Hunter) Sandoval and husband, Apolonio "Andy" of Hollister, MO and Alicia Hunter of Branson, MO and their father, William Hunter of Hollister, MO; her great grandchildren, Dominic Sandoval, Dayanara Sandoval and Apolonio "Tudie" Sandoval; great great grandchildren, Apolonio "Boogie" Sandoval and Ivy Sandoval. Lois passed on Ivy's 1st birthday. She will be missed by many, including all of her nieces, nephews and friends.
