Lonnie Doyle Barnes, 69 of Manes, MO passed away on June 19, 2016 at the Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO. He was born on October 20, 1946 near Manes, MO the son of Fern and Elma (Baker) Barnes.

Lonnie was united in marriage to June Eaton on June 15, 2007. He was a master of all trades; truck driver, carpenter and dairy farmer. He loved to help anyone in need and enjoyed taking his grandkids hunting, fishing and camping. Lonnie had many friends and never knew a stranger; he loved to make people happy so he often had fish fry's and barbeques.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Farrell Barnes; son, John Barnes; brothers-in-law, Jerry Todd and Donnie Delcour and a sister-in-law, Mildred Doty. He is survived by his wife, June of the home; son, Joe Barnes and wife, Sandi of Cabool, MO; son, Louie Schepp of Iberia, MO; stepdaughter, Selinda Hoots and husband, Jeremy of Cabool, MO; grandchildren, Josey Finch, Hali Evans, Jonie Barnes, Chase Barnes, AJ Barnes, Quinton Coble and Allison Schepp; great grandchildren, Lilly Finch, Cody Finch, Brooke Evans, Wyatt Barnes, Kylan Barnes, Whitney Evans and Hunter Evans; siblings, Audrey Delcour of Quincy, IL, Wilma Todd of Belton, MO, Donald and Connie Barnes of Manes, MO, Ina and Butch Gebelin of Crane, MO and Leotta and Tommy Ellis of Graff, MO; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends and wonderful neighbors. Lonnie loved life and lived it his way, he will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
