Obituary:

Loren H. Johnson, 77 of Cabool, MO passed away on Friday, Dec. 13, 2019 at his home.  He was born on May 14, 1942 in Solo, MO the son of Harold and Zula (Erwin) Johnson.

Loren was raised in Solo; he attended and graduated from Houston High School.  Shortly after graduation he entered the US Marines where he proudly served his country until receiving his honorable discharge in 1964.

Loren was united in marriage to Diannia Mead on Jan. 9, 1965 at Solo, MO and to this union two sons were born, Jesse Scott and William Jeffrey.  He was well known for his colorful language, hardheadedness and especially doing things his own way.

Loren was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Diannia.  He is survived by his sons, Scott Johnson and wife, Cheryl of Windsor, MO and Jeff Johnson and wife, Gail of Cabool, MO; grandchildren, Jaydra Johnson of Springfield, MO, Will Johnson of Cabool, MO and Stetson Fletcher; his sister, Kay Watson and husband, Jack of West Plains, MO and his much loved dog, Sissy.  He will be dearly missed by those who loved him.
