Loren Lloyd Swartz, 90 of Cabool, MO passed away on Oct. 28, 2014 at his home. He was born on Aug. 29, 1924 in Leoni, MI the son of the late Lloyd and Hazel (Smith) Swartz.
Loren was united in marriage to Geraldine Annabelle Hardt on July 26, 1950. He spent most of his life working on farms, even as a young boy. He raised beef cattle, milked cows and drove a milk truck for many years.
Loren and Gerry moved their family to Missouri in 1957, settling on an 80 acre farm just north of Buffalo. In 1981, they moved to the Pacific Northwest and bought a place in Kalama, WA. They then returned to Missouri in 2004 and lived just outside of Cabool.
Loren studied the Bible and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1950 and currently attended the Kingdom Hall in Cabool.
Loren was preceded in death by his daughter, Marsha Kay. He is survived by his wife, Gerry of the home; his son, Robert Loren Swartz and wife, Teresa of Cabool; his daughter, Patricia Ann McCracken of Springfield, MO; two brothers, Walter and Warren Swartz of Michigan; three sisters, Rose Blackman, Ruth Tilden and Ellen Colburn all of Michigan; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Loren will be remembered for his love and loyalty to his family. He was a generous and hardworking man. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
