Obituary:

Lura (Weatherman) Fletcher, 91 of Willow Springs, MO departed this life on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at her home. She was born on March 10, 1919 south of Dunn, MO the daughter of Jefferson D. and Nellie Weatherman.

Lura was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse A. Beeler; ex-husband, Earl Freels; husband, Luther Fletcher; a son, James R. Beeler; two grandsons, Greg Cox and Darrel Beeler; son, Carl Dunston; five brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her son, Dr. Jesse D. Beeler and wife, Jonell of Jackson, MS; daughters, Ms. Janet Kay Ayres and husband, Kenneth of Stockton, MO, Ms. Mary Ann Cox and husband, Grant of Springfield, MO, Ms. Lura Earlene Batesel and husband, Gary of Willow Springs, MO, Ms. Patsy Ann Rader and husband, Steven of Mtn. View, MO, ms. Charlotte May Scobee and husband, Bob of Cabool, MO and Ms. Betty Jean Bell and husband, Tom of Mtn. View, MO; a daughter-in-law, Ms. Nancy Beeler of Lebanon, MO; six step children; special grandson, Jamie Collins; 14 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Lura was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Cabool, MO and was proud to be a lifelong resident of south-central Missouri. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
