Mae Juanita Brown, 88 of Cabool, MO passed away on January 21, 2014 at the Houston House Nursing Home in Houston, MO. She was born on May 28, 1925 in Bendavis, MO the daughter of Jess and Nettie Combs. Her siblings are Arthur, Floyd, Albert, Margaret, Inez, Clyde, Claude, Opal and a half brother, Clarence.

She attended Pleasant Grove grade school and Cabool High School. Through the years she had lived in the Bendavis, Cabool and Elk Creek communities. She was united in marriage to Jack Brown and to this union two children were born, Jackie and Terry. She worked for several years cleaning houses and at two different cafes. Mae enjoyed sewing clothes and making quilts; but she really enjoyed traveling and going to stock car races, she had been to Kentucky, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and all over Missouri.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack. She is survived by her children, Jackie Brown Patterson of Kansas City and Terry Lynn Brown of Elk Creek; one grandson, Sean Patterson; as well as many other relatives and friends.
