Margie Brown, 88 of Cabool, MO passed away on Nov. 11, 2022 in Springfield, MO following a short illness. She was born on June 22, 1934 near Cabool the daughter of Ralph and Virginia (Dixon) Baker.

As a young woman, she married and had two sons, Donald Ray and Allison.

Margie worked numerous jobs in the area, the last being in the kitchen at Kabul Nursing Home. She saw beauty everywhere, in clouds and rocks; she was artistic and could make something beautiful out of anything. Her front yard was a jungle to all but to her the daisies, dandelions and other weeds were beautiful flowers.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Doris Evans, Dorcia Wilson, Mary Cahill and Arden Brown. She is survived by one sister, Anne Knaak; her sons, Donald and Allison and wife, Jan; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
