Obituary:
Marilyn Jean Livingston, 79 of Cabool, MO passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012 at the Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, MO. She was born on November 7, 1932 near Clear Springs, MO the daughter of Ray and May (Swecker) McCallister.
Marilyn was united in marriage to James Livingston on April 16, 1951 and to this union four children were born, James Donald, Anita, Roger and David. She was a lifelong resident of Cabool and Texas County. She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She was very dedicated and active in church; serving as the pianist, choir director, Sunday school teacher and anything else that was asked of or needed. Marilyn enjoyed taking walks, bowling and spending time with family and friends.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Livingston; a son, Roger and a brother, Jim McCallister. She is survived by three children, James Donald Livingston and wife, Bonnie of Beckley, WV, Anita Homer and husband, Larry of Greenwood, IN and David Livingston and wife, Kim of Kansas City, MO; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; two brothers, Don McCallister of Excelsior Springs, MO and Jerry McCallister of Odessa, MO; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
