Obituary:

Mary L. (Cole) Baney left this life on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013 at her home in Lenapah, OK at the age of 57 years, 3 months and 7 days. She was born on May 9, 1956 in Muscatine, IA the daughter of Willie and Gladys (Balsinger) Cole.

Mary lived in Iowa during her childhood. She met her long life partner, JD Baney in 1973 and they were united in marriage on June 13, 1975 in Davenport, IA; to this union 4 children were born, Tracy, Tina, Thomas and JD, Jr. The family moved to Missouri and Mary raised all 4 children in the Cabool area. They lived in Missouri for 17 years before moving to Oklahoma in 1995 where she would spend the remainder of her life.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 35 years, JD Baney; a grandchild, Thomas Baney; a sister, Verla Jackson and an uncle, June Cole. She is survived by her daughters, Tracy Thomison and husband, Keith of Delaware, OK and Tina Daniel and husband, Cody of Cabool, MO; her sons, Thomas Baney and wife, Hanna Culley of Cabool, MO and JD Baney, Jr and wife, Kimberly of Delaware, OK; 10 grandchildren, Alex Zillman, JD Baney III, Eric Zillman, Preston Zillman, Blaine Baney, Coy Baney, Tevin Daniel, Brayten Baney, Bryston Baney and Bailey Joe Baney; 5 step grandchildren, Chance Thomison, Skylar Thomison, Tyler Thomison, William Culley and Harmony Culley; sisters, Pat, Sue, Joyce and Charlotte; brothers, Jerry, Bill, Laverne, Doug, Mike and Dennis; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
