Mary Faye Carr, 97 of Cabool, MO passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at the Kabul Nursing Home.  She was born on May 15, 1926 in Cabool, MO one of 12 children of James Claude and Ethel Pearl (Orr) Darter.

Mary was united in marriage to Joe W. Carr on May 28, 1944 in Yuma, Arizona and to this union 4 children were born, Tom, Margaret, Douglas and Don.  They raised their family in Cabool.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe; her son, Tom; 6 brothers and 5 sisters.  She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Joy; sons, Douglas Carr and Don Carr and wife, Melody; daughter-in-law, Priscila Carr; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.  She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
