Mary Ellen Gann, 87 of Cabool, MO passed away on Dec. 24, 2022 at the Independence Manor in Independence, MO. She was born on July 14, 1935 in Cabool, MO the daughter of Fred and Mary Opal (Cooper) Greuter.

Mary graduated from Cabool High School and then was united in marriage to Orville Wayne Gann on July 14, 1958 and to this union two sons, James and Johnny were born. She worked for the Kansas City School district for a few years but most of her time was spent taking care of her family. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially gardening.

The family moved back to Cabool in 1979 where she would remain until moving to Independence to be closer to her sons and their families.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Orville. She is survived by her sons, James Gann, Sr and Johnny Gann; grandchildren, Elizabeth Gann, James Gann, Jr., Jarred Gann, Kacee Roth and Jayme Roth and six great grandchildren, Devlin, Christina, Alison, Jimmie, III, Luna and Maddie. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
