Michael E. Allen, age 72, of Cabool, Missouri, passed away on December 16, 2025. He was born on February 24, 1953, in Independence, Missouri, to Marjorie and Harold Allen.

Michael was a man who found his greatest peace outdoors. He loved fishing, being surrounded by nature, and—most of all—spending time with the people he loved. Whether sharing stories, quiet moments, or laughter. Those who knew him will remember his steady presence, kind heart, and the way he made time feel unhurried when he was with those he cared about.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and Harold Allen, his sister, Pat and brother in law, Claude.

Michael is survived by his significant other, Sandra Lane; her daughter Rachel Harris; granddaughter Samantha Harris; and great-grandchildren Xavier, Brooklyn, and Benjamin. He is also survived by his daughter Angela Sutton and son-in-law Conrad Sutton; granddaughter Anna Coen and grandson-in-law Shelman Coen; great-granddaughter Avery Coen; grandson Brandon Ray; along with numerous other family members and friends who will deeply miss him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor and remember Michael’s life.
