Michael Adam Block, 54 of Mountain Grove, Missouri passed away on Friday, February 11, 2011 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri. He was born on October 11, 1956 in Brainerd, MN the son of Adam R. Block and Theresa (Herner) Block.

Michael was united in marriage to Laurie Parish on January 11, 1985 in North Fort Myers, Florida and lived 18 years of their married life in Fort Myers, FL. He moved his family to Missouri in June 2003 and has lived in Mountain Grove for most of that time. His life work included a lawn business in FL and wood craft work in MO. For the last two years, he has been involved with the 21st. Century Grant After School classes at Cabool Elementary. He enjoyed spending time with his son, as well as, drawing and wood craft.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Adam Robert Block, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Theresa Block; wife, Laurie Block of Mountain Grove, MO; one sister, Susan Block DeBona of Cape Coral, FL; one son, Adam David Block of Mountain Grove, MO. He was a devoted father to his son and a loving husband to Laurie.
