Michael Steven Puckett, 71 of Cabool, MO passed away on Oct. 24, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO.  He was born on July 20, 1954 in Cabool, MO the son of Phillip Lee and Gladys Elaine (Potter) Puckett.

Mike attended and graduated form Cabool High School and then attended Missouri University in Columbia, MO.  After returning home, he went to work for his dad driving a school bus, where he remained until his retirement from Cabool Schools.

Mike was united in marriage to Cynthia Kay Brickles on Oct. 27, 2000 and gained four stepchildren.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Cynthia Kay and his brothers, David and George.  He is survived by his stepchildren, Joanna Johnson, Katherine Hutsell, Roy Mathews and Andrew Mathews; 16 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; as well as several other family members and many friends.  Mike was a loving dad, husband and grandfather; he will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.  Fly high dad, we love you always.
