Michael Ray Brady, 62, departed this life on January 17, 2021 at the Garden View Care Center in Chesterfield, MO. Mike was born on March 5, 1958 in Columbia, MO, the son of Lawrence Lavern and Norma Fern (Cunningham) Brady.
Mike graduated from Cabool High School with the Class of 1976. Around 40 years ago, this tough bull rider started dating Robyn White and soon they were married on April 8, 1984. In the same year, they moved to St. Louis for Mike's employment at the Chrysler Corporation. On April 14, 1995 they welcomed their first child, Lacey Alyssa and on November 16, 2001 their son, Benjamin Andrew was born.
Mike was strong, kind and hard working; he was fun, easy going and humble. He was a doting husband and father; an awesome son, son-in-law, brother and brother-in-law. He loved watching sports, fishing, being outdoors and doing projects around the house. Mike was a Christian and was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Festus, MO.
Almost 20 years ago on October 11, 2002, Mike was in a horrible life altering accident that left his strong body broken and injured his brain. It changed his family but did not take him completely from us and it did not change his sweet spirit or his amazing strength. He was an example of bravery and courage as he faced each day of his situation without fear or complaint. He carried on with determination and a cheerful heart.
Mike was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Spunk White; his step-father, Doug Wyatt; his brother-in-law, Randy Cochran and his paternal and maternal grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Robyn Jeanette Brady; his daughter, Lacey (Andy Wiesehan) Brady; his son, Benjamin Brady; his granddaughter, Elliana Elizabeth Marsala; his father, Vern (Vikilyn) Brady; his mother, Norma Wyatt; his sisters, Teri Cochran, Shannon (Bob) Richards and Sheila (Randall) Beard; his mother-in-law, Gloria White; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lynn and Dave Noirfalise; as well as extended family, nieces, nephews and close friends. He was an inspiration and will be loved and missed always.
