Obituary:

Michael Ray Johnson, "Biggs", 23 of Cabool, MO was born on September 8, 1989 in Mansfield, MO the son of Danny and Debbie (Bayless) Johnson. He went to be with Jesus on September 8, 2012.

Michael graduated with the Cabool High School Class of 2008 where he was very active in football, baseball, basketball, track and the Iron Dog meets. He worked for a short time at Town & Country Grocery Store in Cabool while in school and attended one semester at Drury University after graduation. He then went to work at El Imperial as a cook in the evenings and worked as a brick layer during the day.

All the while still making time for Church, family and friends; these were very important to Michael. He wrote, "God's love is unconditional, no matter how many times you leave Him, or no matter how many mistakes you make, He will always take you back and forgive you. I love you God for every day, through the good and the bad, and I thank you for taking me back." If the only way we can go to heaven is by knowing Jesus as our Lord and Savior, don't you think we should tell others, just as Michael has done, so they can go to heaven too?

Michael was a blessing to so many lives. He wanted to make sure that everyone knew about Jesus, his friends and family both. If they were down he would try to lift them up, he seemed to always know the right words to say that helped. Michael attended the Mtn. Grove Full Gospel Church; many times he would invite or bring a friend to church. He was saved at a young age; at the age of 8 he was Baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost; at the age of 16 he became a Sunday School teacher for the primary class; at 17 he helped with Children's Church for 4 years. He enjoyed his puppet and clown ministry, he was "Papa the Clown", and at 19 he learned to play the drums and enjoyed playing them at church.

Michael is survived by his parents, Danny and Debbie Johnson of Cabool, MO; his brothers, Christopher Johnson of Cabool, MO and Nathaniel Johnson and wife, Rachel of Jefferson City, MO; grandparents, Ethmer (Doc) and Phyliss Johnson of Mtn. Grove, MO, Earl and Gay Durnell of Cabool, MO and Jim Bayless and Ailene Wake of Cabool, MO; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends who loved him and will miss him. We love you Michael.
