Obituary:

Milford Louis Thomas Brown (Tom) was born in all his ornery glory on October 24, 1962 to William Floyd Brown and Armenia (Amie) Flores in St. Louis, MO. He left this world in the comfort of his home on March 08, 2021.

Tom met the love of his life, Julie Sellars, while working at Fordick in Mtn. Grove, MO. After he picked on her relentlessly for three long months, Julie agreed to marry him. The two eloped on July 23, 1982 with no songs and two witnesses. Tom loved to claim "Hair of the Dog" as their theme song as it was the first song they heard after their wedding.

With this union came seven children: three together and four that they adopted into their hearts as their very own. Tom loved all his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren ALMOST as much as he loved his Pittsburgh Steelers. He even made his oldest daughter change her wedding date so that he did not miss the wedding due to a game.

Tom loved to drive and did it all the time. He drove his friends crazy and he drove his family crazy, but most of all, he drove his semi-truck across the country for over 30 years living out his lifelong dream.

In his free time, Tom enjoyed going to Steelers games with is favorite brother and "saver of the children" , Jesse, as Druncle 1 and Druncle 2, hanging out at R&R shooting the breeze with the guys, and camping at the lake with his family.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jesse Brown of Manhattan, NY, and his granddaughter Macy Loveless of Mountain Grove, MO.

He is survived by his soulmate, Julie Brown, of the home; seven children: Tommy Brown and his wife Theresa of Houston, MO; Bradley Loveless and his wife Bridgett of Denlow, MO; Jessica Shannon and her husband Justin of Mtn Grove, MO; Cathryn Beggs and her husband Thomas of Zanoni, MO; Amanda Shannon and her husband Dustin of Mtn. Grove, MO; Michelle Harrington and her husband Derek of Mtn. Grove, MO; and Aleesia Brown and her fiancé Jerod Pounds of Mtn. Grove Missouri; one brother: Floyd Brown of California; three loving sisters: Irene Patterson and her husband Ted of Jackson, MO; Laura Sherrell and her husband Duane of Mtn. Grove, MO; and forever single Sara Taylor (aka Not Laura) of Mtn. Grove, MO; 28 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 15 grand-dogs; 2 grand-cats; multiple nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends who will miss his infectious personality forever.
