Obituary:

Nellie Marie Gilworth was born in Kansas City, Missouri on September 21, 1930. She was more commonly known to everyone who knew and loved her as "GeeGee." She was the kind of person that everyone should strive to be more like- kind, compassionate, caring, loving, honest, and a bit of a worry-wart. She enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her great-grandchildren. Nellie was always surrounded by friends and family, and enjoyed spending time sitting on the front porch and watching the neighborhood activities.

Nellie was preceded in death by her father, George DeFeo and mother, Lillian DeFeo, her son Jeff Gilworth and brother George DeFeo. She leaves behind her daughter, Alicia Allen, son Steve Gilworth, granddaughter, Angela Sutton, grandson in law, Conrad Sutton, great-grandson Brandon Ray, great-granddaughters, Anna Castleberry and April Sutton, cousin, Rosanel Gulotta and surrogate granddaughter, Kathy Fitzpatrick, as well as numerous loved ones residing in the Kansas City area.

Nellie passed away peacefully on May 9, 2017. She will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her, and she will be forever missed by all her family and friends.
