Novie Eugene "Buck" Baney, 33 of Mtn. Grove, MO passed away on Monday, Nov. 10, 2014. He was born on July 22, 1981 in Houston, MO the son of Nova and Janet (Creed) Baney.

Buck was a funny, outgoing and giving person. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them especially with his kids at the lake. He also enjoyed running his heavy equipment and teaching his son, JT how to operate. He was very stubborn and set in his ways but if you treated him and his family with respect he would give his shirt off his back to help you out.

Buck loved to sneak off with one or several of the nephews to go fishing for just run around. He always made a point to spoil his nieces and nephews, usually for two reasons, one because he loved them and two, because he knew that it drove his brother and sisters crazy. He would never sit still for long; loved to joke and cut up with people and could always make people laugh. Buck was well liked and greatly loved by those who knew him and despite the challenges he faced in his life, he was one of the most honest, genuine and caring people you would ever meet. His loss will change the lives of his family forever.

Buck was preceded in death by his parents, Nova Gene and Janet Diane Baney and both maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Dena and children, Addy, Kenzee and J.T.; his brother, Randy Creed and wife, Jennifer of Mtn. Grove, MO; his sisters, Candy Cooper and husband, Michael, Nora Means and husband, Richard and Thelma Baney all of Mtn. Grove, MO; 9 nieces and nephews, Austin, Mikey, Dakota, Rebecca, Andrea, Marissa, Katelyn, Hunter and Levi; as well as a host of other family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
