Obituary:

Ormond Dean Stogsdill, 83 of Elk Creek, MO passed away on August 1, 2021 at his home. He was born on November 10, 1937 in Cabool, MO the son of Hubert, Sr and Caroline (Gutch) Stogsdill.

Dean attended Cabool Schools and then joined the US Army in February of 1956. After returning home from Korea in November of 1957 he met his soulmate, Virginia Sigman. They were united in marriage in August of 1958 and to this union two children were born, Timothy Dean ad Kelly Dawn.

They bought a farm in Elk Creek and raised their family. He retired from Cabool Tire, Inc after 27 1/2 years. Dean loved to hunt, fish and especially spend time with his family.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Hubert, Jr., Leon and Darwin and his sister, Rosanna Ream. He is survived by his wife, Virginia of the home; his son, Timothy of Cabool; his daughter, Kelly Loveless of Mtn. Grove; grandsons, Kelsey Stogsdill and wife, Lauren, Kyle Stogsdill, Jonathan Scantlin and wife, Kayla and Justin Frost; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Larson and husband, Dean and Fonda Carroll and two sisters-in-law, Mary Stogsdill and Jackie Stogsdill. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
