Obituary:

Oscar Lee Reed, 82 of Cabool, MO departed this life at 12:48pm on May 1, 2013 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO with family at his side. He was born on December 20, 1930 in Cabool, MO the son of John Oscar a Verna (Crossland) Reed.

He was married four times and divorced at the time of his passing. Oscar joined the US Army in July 1951; he served one year overseas in Korea. He received many medals and pins for his service; he was with the 92 ^nd Armed Infantry of Co. B from Fort Leonard Wood until receiving his honorable discharge in Sept. 1955.

After his discharge from the service, he enjoyed traveling and picking up work as he traveled. He resided in Cabool on his country farm of 3 acres. He enjoyed piddling around his place with his dog, Jack. He also enjoyed showing his antique cars at car shows with his brother, Dooter.

Oscar is survived by his younger brother, Omar (Dooter) and wife, Sharon Reed of Udall, MO; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and close friends. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace little buddy for Cabool will not be the same.
