Patricia Marie Gayer Wiest, 37 of Cabool, MO departed this life on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014. She was born on July 27, 1977 in Mansfield, MO one of five children of Louis Orval and Louise Faye (Fisher) Gayer.

Patty lived most of her life in Texas County. She was united in marriage to Jacob Kaltenberger and to this union three children were born; Dalton, Gabriel and Aleena. Jacob departed this life while living in Colorado. She was united in marriage to Patrick Wiest on May 25, 2001 and to this union one child was born, Ivy; and Patrick's daughter, Francheska from a previous marriage.

Patty loved life and people and was always willing to help family or friends. She worked at Pizza Hut in Houston, MO before moving to Springfield where she worked at Olive Garden and met her husband, Patrick. The job that she loved the most was after she moved back to Cabool and worked at Bulls Eye and after it changed to Casey's General Store where she was an assistant manager until retiring to spend more time with her family and friends.

Her family was the center of her life; she also liked to play the piano. Patty came to know the Lord at the age of 12, on her last Sunday she played the piano as a substitute at her church for the Glory of her Lord.

Patricia was preceded in death by her brother, Louis Earl Gayer. She is survived by her husband, Patrick of Cabool, MO; her children, Dalton, Gabriel and Aleena Kaltenberger, Ivy Wiest and Francheska Wiest; her parents, Orval and Louise Gayer of Cabool, MO; three sisters, Molly Louise Johnson of Independence, MO, Robin Faye McCallister of Cabool, MO and Hannah Ann Sawyer of Hayes, Virginia; as well as many other relatives and friends.
