Obituary:

Patricia Kay "Patty" O'Neal , 58, of Cabool, Missouri , peacefully passed away on January 22, 2017, with her mother by her side at Autumn Oaks Caring Center, Mountain Grove, Missouri.  Patty, the daughter of Joe Wayne and Billie Louise (Saylors) O'Neal, was born in Springfield , MO June 24, 1959.

She enjoyed life with her family, living on the farm at Topaz Mill.  She was surrounded by her loving family and enjoyed an abundance of friends in the rural community. She was known for her love of animals, especially her beloved cats. As a child, Patty attended the Missouri State Training Center for Children with Disabilities.

Throughout her life she attended Mount Ararat Missionary Baptist Church.

Patty was a beloved member and a "bright light" to her family, friends, and others in the community. Among all who knew her, Nadine Rogers, Eunice Hines, Wanda Sloan and Janice Bales were very special ladies who always brought her much love and joy. There are many family members and friends, each with a "Patty story" to share, who have fond memories of how she touched and inspired the lives of those around her.  She remains forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Patty was preceded in death by her father, Joe Wayne O'Neal; her grandparents, Clarence and Adith O'Neal and Champ and Emma Saylors; her uncles and aunts, Bob and Elsa O'Neal, Bill and Carolyn O'Neal and Dorman Saylors.  She is survived by her mother, Billie Louise O'Neal of the home; aunt, Kay Saylors of Harrison, AR and eight cousins, Joe Bob O'Neal (Betsy) of Cabool, MO; Jim O'Neal, Mesa, AZ; Linda (Paul) Lanning of Van Buren, AR; Mary Ann (Rusty) Swift of Republic, MO; Peggy (Joel) Brown of Las Cruses, NM; Kerry (Rose) Saylors, St. Joe AR; Kimberly (Mark) Laster; Pea Ridge, AR; and Erin (Aaron) Hall, Green Forest AR.
