Paul Junior Stoops, 67 of Cabool, MO went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2017.  He was born on July 2, 1949 in Hartshorn, MO the son of Leland and Dorothy (Plummer) Stoops.

Junior was saved at a young age and spent his teenage years in Birch Tree, MO; graduating from Birch Tree High School in 1967.  He was united in marriage to Pat Sullivan on March 5, 1971 and to this union two daughters were born, Teri Jo and Billie Rae.

Junior was a truck driver for many years; he never met a stranger and would never pass a person in need.  He enjoyed playing baseball, softball, roller skating, riding horses, fishing and drinking coffee at the truck stop.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; one nephew, Derrick Stoops and one niece, Jessica Sullivan.  He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Pat of the home; daughter, Teri Jo and Terry Joe Kimery; great grandson, Weston Kimrey; daughter, Billie Rae Reese; granddaughter, Catlin Clay Reese; one sister, Rhonda Tharp and husband, Dick of West Plains; two brothers, Steve Stoops and wife, Janet of Ellington, MO and Rick Stoops and wife, Sheila of West Plains; as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
