Obituary:

Phyllis Dene Fuller Carr died peacefully at Texas County Hospital Hospice Wing on Thursday September 13, 2018 at the age of 89. She was born in Grand Rapids MI on May 19, 1929 the daughter of Harry M. Fuller and Bernice Vivian (Bolt) Fuller.

She married Hazen Cyril Carr on September 6, 1947, in Grand Rapids, MI. They enjoyed nearly 71 years of marriage. Phyllis was an amazing mother of 5 boys, all born within 6 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was an excellent role model not only for her family but everyone she touched. She was a member of the Cabool Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Hazen C. Carr, and her son Phillip Hazen Carr (Mary Ann Mutrux) of Willow Springs, MO. She is survived by their four sons, Timothy George Carr (Cheri) of Bensenville, IL, Todd Alan Carr (Paula) of Midland, MI, Nathan Lyle Carr (Janet) of Edcouch, TX, and Jon Russell Carr (Arlene) of Jeffersonton, VA: ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
