Raymond Lee Steely, Jr was born on October 28, 1951 in Cabool, MO the son of Raymond, Sr. and Danace (Smith) Steely.  He passed away peacefully on July 5, 2025 at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 8 days.

Raymond moved several times after graduation, finally settling in Southern Georgia and living a life he truly loved.  He was very active in his community, Moose Lodge, St. Teresa's Catholic Church and loved to spend time visiting with those around him.  He spent a lot of time traveling and visited many foreign lands that most only dream of.

Raymond was preceded in death by his mother, father, grandparents, a multitude of family and a great niece, Reilly.  He is survived by his brother, Brad Steely and wife, Teresa; nieces, Monna (Jeremy) Devoto, Ginger (Larry) Pippin, Lacy Biram and Marley (Ronny) Stephan; 13 great nieces/nephews and a large extended family of cousins, friends and church family.

The loss of Raymond is a great loss for all those who truly knew him.  He made a profound impact on so many people and made friends from all walks of life.  He will be greatly missed.
