Obituary:

Raymond Lee Walker, 74 of Mtn. Grove, MO passed away on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017 at the Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO after battling many illnesses over the last several months. He was born on July 25 ^th , 1943 in Weinert, TX, the son of Robert M. and Lillian K (Wheeler) Walker.

Raymond was a 1961 graduate of Weinert High School. He married Joyce Walker on April 5 ^th , 1984 in Haskell, Texas.  He was in the Air Force for 2 years then moved back to Weinert where he worked at Bailey's Gas Station. In 1975 he moved to Snyder and worked at Ed Walton Construction. In 1984 he moved to Missouri where he drove a truck with several smaller jobs in between. He always said he was a "Jack of All Trades" and he could fix anything and everything. He always had a love for music and a song in his heart.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Luther Walker, and granddaughter, Brittany Burwell.  He survived by his loving wife, Joyce of the home; his seven daughters, Rhea Dawn Goddard and Katrina Johnson of Abilene, TX, Gwyn Hubalck of Phelan, CA, Ginger Peterson of Spokane, WA, Marsha and Michelle Clark of Mountain Grove, MO and Tasha Holt of Houston, TX; his brother, Robert (Bob) Walker of Lindell, TX; his sisters, Mary Salley of Lubbock, TX and Erma Standlee of Seymour, TX; 13 grandchildren and great grandchildren and many cousins.
