Richard D. Loughridge, 77 of Willow Springs, MO passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at his home. He was born on February 20, 1938 at Solo, Missouri the son of Woodrow and Esther (Neville) Loughridge. He grew up in the Solo area and graduated from Houston High School.
Richard was married to Pricilla Halley then later to Helen Brown and lastly to Barbara Stacy with whom he was united in marriage to on December 18, 1998.
Richard worked 16 years at Brown Shoe Company and later operated the Loughridge processing plant in Cabool. After accepting Christ as his Savior, Richard answered a call to ministry and pastored several churches: Shekhinah Temple at Cabool, Glorious Full Gospel at Willow Springs where he was also principal of the Glorious Christian Academy and later at Mount Carmel Full Gospel in Elk City, Oklahoma. Richard enjoyed singing for the Lord and writing songs of praise.
Richard was preceded in death by his mother and father; his second wife, Helen; a brother, Don and three grandsons. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Loughridge of the home; his brothers and sisters Darrel and wife, Kay of Cabool, Missouri, Nancy Frost of Pocahontas Arkansas, Dale and wife, Linda of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Judy Loughridge of Springfield, Missouri and Danny Loughridge of Plato, Missouri; his children, Jim and wife, Cathy Loughridge of Kansas, Deborah Ann and Tony Clark of Springfield, Missouri, Charlene and husband, Eugene Keeling of Oklahoma, Mark Deon Loughridge of Kansas, Mark Adams and wife, Shelly of Cabool, Missouri, David Adams and wife, Barbara of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Rick Loughridge and wife, Rhonda of Cabool, Missouri, Brian Loughridge of Willow Springs, Missouri and John Andrew George of Willow Springs, Missouri and a host of family and friends who will greatly miss him.
