Obituary:

Richard Matthew Mielke, 83 of Raymondville, MO passed away on February 29, 2016 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on August 14, 1932 on the family farm in Paulding County, Ohio the son of Edward and Vanda Mielke.  On August 12, 2010 he married his best friend, Wilma Mielke.

As one of Richards grandchildren wrote, "He taught me how to drive a tractor and deliver puppies, how to overcome my fears and how important responsibilities are. I will never forget your endless stories or your loud heartfelt laugh."  This describes the man we knew.  Richard was a truck driver for Ree's Trucking for many years.  He could often be found at his favorite place, McDonalds, telling stories of his travels, love for tractors and trucking.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Paul and one sister, Shirley.   He is survived by his wife, Wilma Mielke of the home; 4 children, Wesley Mielke and wife, Janice, Shelly Householder, Debbie Kamp and Dan Mielke and wife, Dawn; a step daughter, Deana Scott; 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
