Obituary:

Robert Gene Hopkins, son of Roy and Elizabeth (Perkins) Hopkins was born on Dec. 10, 1972 in Houston, MO. He departed this life on March 28, 2011 in Huber Heights, OH doing what he loved to do at the age of 38 years, 3 months and 18 days. He dearly loved to drive his truck.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Samantha Sparbel of Cabool, MO; his son, Cody Arnold of Lebanon, MO; three brothers, Earl Hopkins and fiancé, Anna Fritz of Cabool, MO, Allen Cramer of New York and James Hopkins of California; five sisters, Wanda Avgerinos and husband, Teddy of West Plains, MO, Beverly Gould and boyfriend, Rich Fielbf of Hollister, MO, Idia Brandon and husband, Michael of Birch Tree, MO, Donna Barnett and husband, Frank of Texas and Peggy of Texas; 26 nieces and nephews, close friends, Jerry and Steph Hartman; as well as many other relatives and friends that will dearly miss him.
