Obituary:

Robert Joseph Ipock was born to Veva Jane (Stillwell) Ipock and Clifford Taft Ipock in their home in Mountain Grove, Missouri. He lived in Missouri until the age of 10 when he moved with his family to Colorado. About four year later they returned to Missouri. Bob served in both the Army and the Air Force, upon returning from service he was joined in marriage to Marilyn (Wise) Ipock. This union was blessed with three children, Alan, Robin and Tammy Lue. Robert was preceded in death by both of his parents, his brothers Clifford Ipock, and David Ipock, a sister Carol Abercrombie, and a grand-daughter Brandy Ipock. Bob worked most of his life doing construction, his specialty being concrete. He and his son Alan ran Ipock Concrete Construction, they also owned and ran the Sugar Mountain Dairy together for several years. Bob and Marilyn divorced, and in 1992 he married Merlene (Brown) Ipock. He and Merlene were wonderful dance partners and enjoyed dancing together. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to float the river with his son and grand-daughters. He also enjoyed visiting at the café, drinking coffee. Bob loved to play golf, if you needed him on a sunny day the Randal Hinkle Golf Course is where he could be found.

Bob left this world at the age of 75 years, 3 months and 12 days; he left behind many friends and family that will miss him greatly. Among those are his wife Merlene; a son, Alan of Mountain Grove; his daughters, Robin Menzor and Tammy Engbarth both of Commerce City, Colorado; his step daughters, Rhonda Hogan of Nixa and Sherri Jacks of Mountain Grove; thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother and sisters; Jean Bunnell of Colorado, Dorlea Hudspeth of Mountain Grove, Patsy Loomis of Mountain Grove, Mary Hernandez of California, Judi Stillwell of Indiana, Bennie Ipock of Mountain Grove, and Renee' Glaspie of Washington state. As well as a host of other relatives and many ,many friends

As we say good bye to our husband, father, brother, and grandpa, we must keep in mind that this is not the end for him, but the beginning of his eternal life, a life of no pain, only joy. Bob loved the Lord and had a relationship, Jesus Christ and because of this we can be with him again one day.
